Hi

New to Kodi and just wondering if anyone could help?

I'm getting a circle appearing on the screen and the TV is frozen in the background it takes 2-3mins before the tv comes back.

I have everything running from one PC.

The specs are:
i7-4770K
32GB
480GB for the main operating system
480GB for tv recording.
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1050 Ti

I believe these specs should cope with what I'm trying to do (watch live tv and record another)

I have a Pinnacle 7010ix tuner card and a TBS6982 Tuner.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

Thank you for your response.
It would not allow me to upload the full log at once so I have done it in 2.
I have had to split the log into

https://paste.kodi.tv/epozoriwec.kodi and https://paste.kodi.tv/refucudopo.kodi
I've not taken anything out of these logs.

I don't believe I'm using the Advanced method.

Thanks again for the response.

Thread moved to NextPVR section, as that's what seems to be having the issue.

A few questions?

1. Why are you using the transcoded timeshift?  This is typically meant to reduce bandwidth and not for localhost which should direct play.

2. Do you have an EPG configured?

3. Did you try to disable the EPG update display in advancedsettings.xml <displayupdatepopup>false</displayupdatepopup>  You have live tv configured to auto play and that are status updates that typically are displayed on startup.
