using Kodi v19.1 (Matrix) on android tv box.
problem: when playing dsf file (and sacd iso), volume is at least 5-6 db lower than playing pcm file. tried adding replaygain info in tags and kodi seems ignored it.

i am not sure this is a bug. any suggestion is welcome.

Convert your DSF files to FLAC adding the appropriate +6db gain. ReplayGain works perfectly for FLAC.

Kodi converts to PCM during play back anyway. Converting to FLAC prior gives you more control.

does this happen to other players? such as vlc or nplayer?
i prefer keep the dsf file format if possible. converting so many albums is a lot of work.
