This has been a tricky one to get a log for because it doesn't happen everytime. It does happen most days though! I think it has something to do with refresh rate switching perhaps? As soon as I press play on a video (local media or through an addon) I often get a crash where the whole screen becomes unresponsive before trying to play the media, and I have to use win key + D to get out and then force close Kodi. My logfile is here and was running right before the last time it happened if anyone can help? Thanks!

Thanks for the log, there's quite a lot of activity in that log, with some 3rd party extras that I'm a little unfamiliar with. Try a few temporary adjustments, disable trakt, Oz weather, and scanning on start (a library issue) and let's see if these common stumbling blocks are responsible before digging deep or blaming the gfx engine.
