I dont know if it's a skin-related problem or not, excuse me if it's not in the correct subforum...
I upgraded Kodi after some years, and with the latest version I wanted to test some skins, and installed Aeon which I like a lot.
Suddenly, however, I found myself lost:
With the old Kodi (openelec, default skin) I could navigate to the Files menu, select a subdirectory where some new movies are located (I keep them prganized by genre, in Fantasy, Action, etc subdirs), and with the context menu select "Scan for new Content".
With the latest Kodi & Aeon, I cannot access this menu item anymore - is it hidden somewhere?

I tried this with Aeon MQ 7 & 8 for Matrix, and I was able to select "SCAN FOR NEW CONTENT" from a video folder that I added.
