ODROID-HC4 or other AMLogic S905x w/CoreELEC?

I've seen it mentioned that the AMLogic S905x3 w/CoreELEC has Correct - MaxCLL/FALL HDR Infoframe data output; but what about:

auto Frame Rate Matching / TV Refresh Rate Switching

or

Dynamic Range Matching / Colorspace Switching

or

Resolution Switching

Yep to all if you are running CoreElec.  You get dynamic frame rate switching (23.976/24/25/29.97/50/59.94/60), dynamic EOTF (SDR, PQ and HLG) and Gamut switching (Rec 709 and Rec 2020), and resolution switching for 720p, 1080p and 2160p (not looked as SD resolutions)

I run both an Odroid C4 and an N2 and they both support this stuff with CoreElec.  I've not checked MaxCLL and FALL but I think that was solved a while back.

Awesome! Thanks so much.

Edit.: a follow-up question. Is all the above true for Kodi 18.9 or just Kodi 19.x?

CoreElec has supported all of that for a pretty long time now (HLG came a bit later, as did HDR10 metadata pass through) - but I think it was all there in 18.9. Can't say for sure.  I'm pretty much always on nightlies.

Actually one more question if I may... Do you know if the Ugoos AM6B Plus w/Android TV https://forum.freaktab.com/forum/tv-play...roidtv-9-0 + the special build of Kodi 18.9 w/Dolby Vision HDR https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid3002849 by sk83 meets all the same requirements? (Correct - MaxCLL/FALL HDR Infoframe data output + auto Frame Rate Matching / TV Refresh Rate Switching + Dynamic Range Matching / Colorspace Switching + Resolution Switching)

Afraid I don't use Android or Android TV on any of my platforms other than the Shield TV.  Historically support for interlaced content has been very poor, and if the platform requires a fork, I steer clear.

You're right - I'm not crazy about using forked projects either. I was sort of hoping to use the AM6B Plus to dual-boot to Kodi w/DV HDR support on Android TV & Batocera for gaming. Probably asking too much of the system anyhow. I do like the ODROID-HC4 "toaster" and should just use it with CoreELEC and call it good. Thank you for your input!
