Hi,
I'm playing around with the JSON RPC API, I'm changing the subtitle color setting via curl and it's working, but the problem is if I update the setting while a video is playing the change doesn't take into effect until I stop and play again a video.
I wonder if there's a way to ask Kodi via API to reload settings changes so I can see the effects while still on playback.
The problem I want to solve is automatically change the subtitle color depending if the content is HDR or SDR, so I don't have to do that manually every time.
