Not sure if this has been seen elsewhere - but the TV Mosaic software that DVB Logic developed before winding down their activities, has now been open sourced (minus a few bits - mainly to do with licensing and their paid-for EPG sources)

Yep, I gave this Open Source version a test drive over the weekend.
Initial thoughts are very good, as it was very easy to install and configure using an m3u8 list of channels created from my enigma/VU+ device under the IPTV option.
What I found very surprising is how fast the channels opened and switched. When I've used exactly the same channel list file with the IPTV simple and NextPVR clients, channel openings and switches have been considerably slower for some reason.
Only real problem I had, was the genre information did not match what was on my xmltv file. I looked everywhere on the client and server side for a genre mapping file, but couldn't find one anything. I did find a category-mapping file in my program data directory, but none of these genres seemed to match what I was seeing on the screen.....so still a bit of mystery.
But overall, performance was very good.

Just a thought, but maybe it's an idea to include this thread under the 'Important Threads' heading to avoid it getting lost within the regular posts?

Well ain't that one that I didn't see happen.
Thanks for the heads up, maybe pin this one for better visibility as already suggested.

Installed the CE version. Pleasantly surprised.
Monitoring activity is restored, all is functioning fine.

I might switch back, only thing is switching channels is faster in tvh, since additional tuners are used to pre-tune channels.

I'm on Windows 10 and downloaded from here (5 option down under the 'Other' heading called 'Tv Mosaic CE 8.0.0.20001 Installers':-
https://gitlab.com/tvmosaic/server/-/releases

Guess it does the job as mentioned above, but had no problem installing.
