Hello!

I've been using Kodi for a while now, without any problem, using LibreElec on a Raspberry Pi 4. I recently upgraded LibreElec to v9.2.8, and since then, the new films I put there can be scraped, but the poster is never downloaded.

For instance, I added Disney's 1992 Aladdin, and did a library update. The film details are downloaded, and everything is in place... except the poster. Instead, Kodi shows me a thumbnail from the film. It's the same for all the films I recently added.

I enabled logs in the interface and captured what happens when I select "Refresh" from the film Information screen:

It seems the connection to themoviedb.org goes well, it retrieves a lot of information, and in the api calls, I can even see paths to "poster" jpg files, which, I assume, is the thing I want.

Yet... no poster shows up in the UI afterwards.

Am I missing something?

The skin is "Estuary" (it's the default one I believe, at least I haven't touched this)

Nope, they are not the full logs. I need the log from startup to shutdown with the problem captured. Also disable cURL logging as it is not needed.

OK, I disabled cURL logging, restarted the system, then:

Selected Aladdin
Pressed i to display the information screen
Went to "Refresh"
Answered "Yes" when asked if I wanted to retrieve data from the Internet instead of keeping local info
Selected "Aladdin (1992)"

As you can see, the poster is empty.

Hmmm, yes the scraper is not returning any poster, fanart or landscape images. Maybe @olympia can check why

Could you install the Python version of the scraper.... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=363391 and check if the artwork is downloaded?

Any reason you are still on v18.9?

I just tested it, and artwork is scraped correctly for me.

Awesome! I downloaded the Python version, and enabled it for this movie source, then refreshed the whole local database, and now the films posters (including Aladdin Smile

) are properly downloaded!

I'm still on 18.9 because it's the version provided with LibreElec 9.2.x. LibreElec 10.x has a more up-to-date release of Kodi, but in their release blog post the team announced that this version was not really in a good shape on Raspberry Pis, so I decided to wait and see.
