#1
Hi there is an issue with tvheadend client on kodi 19.3 on my xbox series X when playing live tv.

It looks like when if hw accelaration is enabled the video stream has artifacts and is stuttering.

When hw acceleration is disabled it plays fine here are some screen shots

Lately I am with many things at the same time and there is no time for everything, so you will have to be patient...

At the moment I see the video mode is set to 119Hz:

2021-11-02 00:08:00.661 T:1068 INFO <general>: Desktop Resolution: 3840x2160 30Bit at 119.88Hz

And Kodi does not normally support more than 60Hz. You can try modifying in the Xbox settings to default at 60Hz.

Stream is at 25.0 Hz  and Xbox has 50 Hz modes. You may need enable WHITELIST all modes or only 3840x2160 and enable "Allow double refresh rates" for best results.

This seems to me unrelated to green screens and probably is addon-specific issue. At the moment I can't say anything else.

Sory for bugging you i was not intend to do that but i changed settings that you mentioned and it seems it improves a lot.

Only in the beginning when starting playback a couple of seconds some artifacts and distortion and then its gone.🤗

I’ve now got smooth playback with these settings with live tv and hw decoding enabled! Thank you very much for your time too look in it.

Good stuff! Thanks!

I'm glad it's fixed. Surely it is something that will happen to more users because live TV channels are usually at 25 Hz and on Xbox it is necessary to activate an option that is not ON by default Allow double refresh rates to use 50 Hz

I never use this option on my odroid N2 using CoreELEC but it make sense to turn it on.
