i heard that’s a lot of fakes boxes out there… that’s basically what stopping me from buying one.. it can have saying 4gb ram and be 2, or gigabit lan and come with 100 and so on…

Kodi's biggest problem on Android is generally the 8GB limit especially with bloat.

Assuming it's being done on a lan with local media path substituting the thumbnails folder to an nfs share does wonders. It's how I've got my Google Tv / Fire sticks all working. Kodi doesn't take more than 80mb on the device.
