Pi4 4GB Some videos no longer play correctly
#1
I updated my system last week and ever since I cannot play a large portion of my library. I get a green screen with some pixelation on the edges, then it shows the screen for half a second and freezes, then Kodi freezes the system or it freezes when I try and exit Kodi. Im not sure if this was a kernel update or a Kodi update that is causing this. All the videos that are not playing use different codecs for both audio and video. All videos that are not playing i am 100% sure they worked before and they play fine with VLC/MPHC

Raspbian 10 (Buster) Kernel 5.10.63-v71+

Kodi 18.7 Git:20200528-2c5354e70a

Thanks for any help

Please note that this is not an OS or Kodi version coming from the hands of TeamKodi.
You will need to contact the devs over at the Raspberry Pi forums for further support on these bugs.

I'd recommend updating to bullseye. Kodi 19 is available from apt.
