Both machines please. Chances are the database upgrade did not complete properly. MediaImport adds new fields to the database.

It is still trying to update the database. Just rename the database folder to databaseold

The second opinion that I sought was that of the Developer, Montellese. It seems that you found a bug in the database routines. It has been fixed and i ran a new build. both the tar and img files are linked below. Just drop either into the update folder. to be safe rename or delete the database folder.

Update! After the update, it detected the main one as soon as i booted. Thank you very much for all your help! Fyi this is exactly what i was looking for!

@LongMan when i try to play something from the library i get "this file is no longer available would you like to remove it from your library". hmm?
