I found this remote for my HTPC with LibreElec but I don't know if it can be usable with the KeyMap Editor addon.

It's an IR device, should work if you have a working receiver.
I have no experience with this particular remote so can't guarantee anything, but i would think so.

I'm going to do a bit more research because I want to be sure. My old Philips RC197 is dying (too much use on it) and I'm looking for a good and simple replacement.

Thanks.

CEC is not an option for your htpc?

I use 4 of https://osmc.tv/store/product/osmc-remote-control/ for Pi's and HTPC's, perfect.

I prefer to have a dedicated simple remote for the HTPC

Or just get a FLIRC dongle and repurpose any IR remote you like and program its keys to respond exactly how you want them to.

Just like what @DarrenHill said about FLIRC dongle , I would recommend that, that's what I'm using. Also I brought a 4way universal remote, now I can control my TV, sky and htpc, all from one remote.

Works out of the box with LibreELEC.

I just bought a Flirc and a "One for All 4 " remote. Have Libreelec on a windows PC booting from a usb drive. My plan was to use the flirc to copy kodi remote commands with the remote.
But I think I have wasted money on both , because once the PC boots into Libreelec on start up , I then can't access the Flirc to program the remote ?

Use your pc to program the remote . You need Flirc software for that . I use the same and map buttons to Kodi keybord commands. Works great

Have u installed Flirc software on a pc , so you can start programming the flic usb , before you use it with libreelec?

If not, u can get the software from here https://flirc.tv/support/flirc-usb
