All channels fail to play
#1
I've setup NextPVR and have imported m3u/epg, and they show up in Kodi (19.3 on LibreELEC), however when trying to play any channel I get an error in Kodi. Looked in the log, but there really isn't very much to see.

Without a debug log (wiki) and only your statement of "I get an error", there is not much we can do even with a crystal ball.

Enable debugging, restart Kodi, reproduce the error(s), and provide the log file via a pastebin thing, so we can have a look.

Yeah, I know... Right now there's a problem with my IPTV provider, so I'll get back with this asap.

Make sure you can create a playable recording in NextPVR before posting Kodi logs.  If you can't post on the NextPVR forum with the zipped logs.

On LE are you running Docker or NextPVR natively via the addon?

Running NextPVR in Docker (RPi4). Tried recording through the NextPVR web interface and that works to replay using Kodi.

Further information, NextPVR client version 19.0.2.1.

Now I cannot even access the channel list. When entering the channel guide, it takes a couple of seconds, then Kodi crashes and restarts. I'll enable the debug logs.

I am not sure why Kodi is crashing but I believe it is in core,  I do see an error that is possible with IPTV for users who try and load unfiltered IPTV channel lists with an unreasonably large number of channels.  Here is a suggestion from the author of NextPVR https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid3075563 that might help

2022-01-02 08:57:07.327 T:3823 ERROR <general>: CCurlFile::FillBuffer - Failed: Timeout was reached(28)
2022-01-02 08:57:07.327 T:3823 ERROR <general>: CCurlFile::Open failed with code 0 for http://127.0.0.1:8866/service?method=cha...10cee566f8:

Note that is not a debug log.

The crash could be because of the RPi4.  You might get more memory not using Docker and running the native plugin but it won't solve the timeout issue.
