I have published a new video plugin for Yle Areena.

There used to be another plugin for Areena by hirsivaja, but that one was discontinued when Yle deprecated the API it was using. This new plugin works by using the same API as the Areena web site.

The plugin requires Kodi 19 Matrix. The plugin is not endorsed by Yle. Some content is available only in Finland.

Supported:

• Live TV
  
• Video-on-demand streams
  
• Search (TV programs)
  

Not (yet) supported:

• Audio programs
  
• Subtitles

Well, I have to chime in!
I use to listen via web to Yle Klassinen station, delivering high bitrate and good classical music choice for my taste.
Keep up and dig more into this!

Our two plugins have different features, so we could combine efforts if you are interested in working together.
For example, your implementation has pagination and search history that could be useful options to add.

Judging from the orange-colored entries in the add-on section, you seem to have installed a so-called video piracy repository & and a few related add-ons onto your Kodi setup. Perhaps they are souvenirs from yesteryear, but as per our forum rules (wiki) and piracy policy (wiki), they do make you ineligible for further support on this forum.

You can either fully clean up your Kodi installation, or find your support elsewhere. The choice is yours.

Hi,

I didn't know about this repositories. Never use it! I don't know what it's for. I have never see them on my Kodi. Their are well hidden (probably my son who has installed them)
So, I will check to delete them.

Hi, any ideas how to get this plugin working on the Amazon Fire TV Stick? Works perfectly on Kodi for Mac and Android, but fails to install in the Fire Stick. Thanks
