I haven't used Kodi on my xbox one in almost 2 years. Just curious why it's still on Leia RC, wont update to a newer version, and can't even update the addons for 18 Leia RC?

Make sure your Xbox is connected to Internet and make sure you have not deactivated App Update in your Xbox Global Settings (Settings-System-Updated-Keep my games & apps up to date).
Kodi 19.x update is provided by Microsoft Store.
Try also to access Kodi app from Microsoft Store with your Xbox and see if there is an update button.
