Concept: Use length of time (percentage based) listened to a track to rate the track.
I'm sure I'm not the only one that would love to implement the song rating system but can't be bothered to rate the 10K+ tracks in our library. So automate it.
Every 10% length listened to equals one star. Tracks which are skipped repeatedly rate zero instead of remaining unrated. The math is length played divided by total play duration = percentage. Then round percentage up or down to the nearest 10 which then equals the rating. It's so simple that I'm pretty sure I'm missing something but I know you'll tell me what that is.
Cheers. Be well.
