Solved Fresh Ubuntu and Kodi install, global search isn't working from home page.
#1
I've installed Kodi a dozen times in different Windows and Linux versions and have never had this problem: global search from the home page returns no results.  If I go into the different media sections and search from "Options" the search works, but the main page returns no results, no matter what I search for.

Build: Kodi From Debian 18.6 Debian package version: 2.18

Installed via snap, I believe, from the Ubuntu Software app.

Any thoughts?

Right now, we still prefer to use our own PPA to install the latest Kodi, although a Flatpak version is also in the making.
"Kodi from Debian" v18.* is not coming from TeamKodi but from an (outdated) Ubuntu repository.
