Could this be the repo-binary-addons “game.libretro” add-on, what is missing @sundermann?

Sorry for being such a noob, and thanks again for your help.
Hi,
I have just compiled the missing binary “game.libretro” on suspicion, and you can test and report if that solved your problem.
game.libretro
game.libretro.mrboom

game.libretro
game.libretro.mrboom

I copied and pasted them into the folder media\developer\apps\usr\palm\applications\org.xbmv.kodi\.kodi\addons and Kodi recognises them after restarting with a prompt asking if I want to enable them. The category Standalone games now shows within Game add-ons, also the addon Libretto Compatibility inside Support add-ons.

I tried with Mr.Boom but it doesn't work, a message saying "Add-on couldn't be loaded. An unknown error has occurred." pops up. I then tried to copy them into the folder media\developer\apps\usr\palm\applications\org.xbmv.kodi\addons\ but nothing changed.

I also tried with any game from IAGL but this one needs the emulators.

Interesting thing know is that I can disable them but there is no option for uninstall them. I guess I'll have to delete them via File Manager.

Am I doing something wrong? any suggestion? Thanks!

may I please ask for help?
I have LG OLED 65C8LLA
I installed developer mode, enabled it,
than installed on my windows 10 system webOS Dev Manager
Installed Kodi
Kodi Icon succesfully appeared on my web os App list.

But, when I close developer mode and restart the TV, Kodi is gone Sad

What am I doing wrong?
thanks very much for any advice

Removing the developer mode wipes any sideloaded apps. The same also happens when the developer session expires. Rooting removes this limitation

"Rooting removes this limitation"

Hi, thank you for the answer. May I ask, if there is any manual, how to root my LG tv? And is there any big problem I should know about while doing it? My warranty is years ended, so I have no worry about that.

thank you so much.

Hi i installed Kodi on my C1 with help of developer mode and webOs Dev manager.
Everything works fine.
But i miss the setting for hardware acceleration.
It is just not there.
Expertmode usw is enabled.

I am a little bit confused since i always read it should be there but also because everything is working fine 4K, Dolby Vison and HDR.

My Tv is a LG OLED77C17LB with  α9 4K AI-Prozessor 4. Generation.
Kodi is 20.90.821.

I hope someone can answer my question why the hardware acceleration setting is missing.

Thanks and best regards,
Stefan

Info about the "sync issue".

There is no immediate fix for the mentioned issue. I am working on it but it's a rather complex issue requiring deeper access into the media frameworks which are closed source. GitHub: https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/issues/24193

There may not be enough flash memory available. But can be checked in Terminal with the following command:
Code:
df -h /media/developer
.
It may be possible to avoid the lack of memory by transferring the Kodi installation to a USB stick. To do this, you must first mount the USB stick in the system before installing Kodi.
