Sadly no, I tried both option on the tv settings.
The only way to have audio seems to be turning passthrough off in Kodi (even halfway during a movie), but that just give me a stereo signal

Just an update - I noticed that if I play 2.0 AAC / mp3 content (old tv show or anime) the passthrough is working. Only files with 5.1 or more tracks have this problem, I even tried different sources (DD, DD+, DTS, DTHD)

I've installed Kodi 21.0 - Beta3 just now via webOS Dev Manager and it's freaking magical.
Works like a charm.

Unfortunatelly, no DTS support (becuase of SoC of the TV), but other than that - freaking awesome. 
Including MKV DolbyVision support Woohooo!!!

One question I have is the following:
Under Settings->Display, the resolution is stated to be 1920x1080 (i.e. 1080p) -- despite this is a 4k screen.
Running Kodi from an Android Device (same version) gives me indeed 4K res.
How can that be? Any fix coming?

This is not a bug, but a LG specification: https://webostv.developer.lge.com/develo...resolution
Menus/"Graphic displays" are 1080p, media will still playback at higher (supported) resolutions.

Hello. Installed the latest kodi ipk on my B1 tv using webos dev manager. 

Everytime I try to launch kodi, a kodi logo is flashed on screen and then the last app I had launched previously opens. 

Do any one know what might cause this?

I tried to locate some kodi logs but haven't found any. 
I am not rooted if that matters.

I have tried reading through this thread and tried the cp /usr/lib/libwayland-egl.so /media/developer/apps/usr/palm/applications/org.xbmc.kodi/lib/libwayland-egl.so.1 or ln -s /usr/lib/libwayland-egl.so.0 /media/developer/apps/usr/palm/applications/org.xbmc.kodi/lib/libwayland-egl.so.1 commands without any luck.
