Kodi finds correct posters, but no movie information
#1
I recently added some more movies to my Kodi library. Some of the movies already existed in the library, but these I have edited by supplieing subtitles etc. Kodi finds the correct posters for all movies, but the newly added or edited movies have no information. All of the old movies show information. I use the latest version of Kodi in Windows 11, 64 bit. All add-ons are updated etc.

To receive meaningful assistance you will need to provide a full debug log.

The instructions are here... debug log (wiki)

If you are using the Basic Method, then ensure the following is applied...
1.Enable debugging in Settings>System Settings>Logging,
2.Restart Kodi
3.Replicate the problem.
4.Upload the log to Kodi Paste Site manually or use the Kodi Logfile Uploader. (wiki) With either method post the link to the log back here.

If you are using the Advanced Method ensure you have correctly created and applied the advancedsettings.xml file (wiki)

In both instances, you should see the word DEBUG throughout the log.

Note: Full logs only. No partial or redacted logs
Do NOT post your logs directly into the forum. Use the Kodi Paste Site. Post the link to your pasted log in the forum

I have tried to upload the logfile both manually and by using the Kodi Log Uploader with no success. Nothing seems to happen.

Yep, that is correct. Unfortunately there is nothing in the log of any help. You specifically state movies, but all I see are TV Shows.

But, you are using a dead scraper for tv shows. metadata.tvdb.com is a broken scraper and no longer in the repository. If you want to continue using TVDB, then change to the new TVDB v4 scraper.

I need to see this in the log. So try adding a new movie and capture it in the Debug Log.
I think you are using Universal Movie Scraper, and there is a problem with the Plot... https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid...pid3101096
Probably best to switch to The Movie Database Python scraper which is movie scraper no 7 in the above link.
