Hi I've been trying to watch movies using Kodi's "adjust display refresh rate" option and while the framerate is significantly smoother it suffers from a kind of jitter at random times usually 5-10 seconds apart where the video gets all choppy and unwatchable. I have no problems playing the same content at 60hz and havent been able to pin down whats causing the choppy framerate.
To make things more problematic I'm using passthrough through ALSA on Arch Linux. I've installed an Nvidia GT1030 in the hopes of using hardware acceleration to fix the fps drops but things seem just about the same.
Here is the debug log generated by Kodi while playing a movie and encountering the framerate issues.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
