With Kodi 19.x running on my fire TV I can not play certain Xvid videos. Its super annoying, Kodi 19.3 on my Shield TV plays them all just fine, but the fire TV wont. Is there a way to disable hardware acceleration for only specific codecs?

I cant disable all hardware acceleration or none of my newer movies play.

I think maybe decoderfilter.xml can help but I haven't been able to get it to work.
