Req (More a Question) Quickly turn subtitles on/off.

Question
In advance. I use Kodi on Nvidia Shield TV Pro

Everyone knows it... You're watching a series/film and suddenly the characters are talking in their native language, but hardcoded subs are missing.
Off to the WWW, but nowhere are subs offered that only cover these parts.

And the Procedure to turn on/off Subs the normal way honestly doesn't make the film or the series any better either.

Hence, the question, is there an add-on with which I can somehow, easily, switch subs on and off?

If you have a PC keyboard attached, just press the -t- key.
You can also use the Video OSD where in the subtitles section is a switch to turn subs on/off.
A separate add-on for this would a bit 'meh'.

Another option, if you are using a remote rather than a keyboard is to  setup a keymap, as detailsed:

https://kodi.wiki/view/Keymap

For example, I setup to use the "up" button in fullscreenvideo with the following keymap file to toggle subtitles:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<keymap>
<FullscreenVideo>
<keyboard>
<up>ShowSubtitles</up>
</keyboard>
</FullscreenVideo>
</keymap>

@Klojum Well, via OSD isn't fast, isn't it Big Grin
And Shield does not have any Keyboard, unfortunately. Thanks anyways

But... I found an answer how to bind a Remote Key

Holding the down button will cycle through subtitles by default. If you only have 1 subtitle it will cycle between on and off.
