If you are using python >= 3.10 then you have problems with kodi now. After update kodi is running slow due to the fact that versions of python < 3.10 are not anymore fully compatible. I made with gnome boxes a virtual machine with debian 11. Installed kodi and everything was back as it was. Debian 11 uses python version 3.7. That's not the fault of kodi. The plugins you need should be updated to use python >= 3.10.

Python 3.8.15 is bundled with Kodi for XBox and does not have the issue, why are you talking about Debian in XBOX forum
