I'm looking to provide direct links to the different add-on directories (ex. video add-ons, program add-ons, music addon-ons, etc.)

I can do this by having it go to addons://sources/video/ OR addons://user/xbmc.addon.video

Is there a preference for one over the other?

Is there some place that lists out what the different paths are for each add-on section including PVR Clients and Peripherals? I searched through the wiki but couldn't find anything.

The sources/ folder is the node inside the library - eg when you goto Videos > Addons

The user/ folder is the one inside the addon browser.

The sources/ folder will only show enabled addons whereas user/ will also display disabled and broken addons.

In terms of other directories, you can easily get these by navigating to the path you want and then inspecting the Container.FolderPath infolabel.
