Req <onprevious> and <onnext> container control tags
#1
Hi, I imagine this one has been discussed before, but I couldn't find any previous posts.

Wanted to make a case for having <onprevious> and <onnext> control tags for use in containers so that actions can be triggered when a user scrolls without relying on a hidden button in the focusedlayout. To my understanding this seems like it would be the most direct way to be able to perform an action at the desired time of a scroll event. A few use cases I can think of that this would facilitate.

I wanted to submit my skin to the Kodi repo, but it would currently fail on the grounds of having warnings related to the use of a hidden button. Removing this would either rely on using an addon with a computationally expensive always-on monitoring service (and I imagine there would still be a bit of lag there) or removing quite of a lot of features.

Unless there's another way to be able to complete an action such as setting a window property when a user scrolls that anyone knows of?

Do any other skinners or Kodi devs have thoughts/views on this?
