Using a domain name instead of an IP address

Using a domain name instead of an IP address.  For example: whatever.tk:443
Status. both the DVBViewer clients for Windows and Android allow the use of a domain name. Emby plugin allows to use domain name. The Kodi plugin unfortunately does not support the domain name.
Why support?
1. server-side DDNS.
2. Cloudfalre tunnels, and other server-side solutions.

Please is it possible to provide support? Or is there any workaround? Configuration?

Of course we are talking about the windows version of the plugin, Kodi 19.4.

I see no technical reason why this shouldn't work. I'm using a hostname (resolved by my local dns) myself.

I would say as long as the used domain name is resolvable, it should not pose an issue.

But dont work..https://dvb.somethink.tk:443.
Unfortunately There is no problem with the original dvbviewer in windows, neither with android nor with Emby.
The Kodi addon will not load the domain. It is a cloudflare argo tunnel.
Kodi addon ends up with an infinite 0 on startup

What happens if you remove the ':443' part?
If that doesn't work, you might want to post a debug log (wiki). With that, someone might get a better idea of what's going on.

HTTPS is not supported (yet, feel free to open a bug report/feature request). You need to provide the HTTP (unencrypted) port. In the addon settings the URI is also split up into its individual parts: hostname + port.

Thank you, that's it. Where can I open a feature request to add https support or a fix? If I need an account for this can one of you more experienced people do it?
