Linux Fully remove visualizations
#1
I've set up Kodi 19.4 on a Raspberry Pi 3B (osmc). I activated one of the visualization addons briefly just to see how it worked (FishBMC). After disabling it again, it continued to operate as if I had not disabled it. I tried enabling and then disabling two of the other visualizations (PictureIt and Shadertoy) to see if they might disable as expected, but each simply persisted in the same way. How do I disable any and all visualizations.

One note: These addons, along with several others, are included with osmc. They cannot be uninstalled from within the Kodi interface, as the uninstall button for each of them is grayed out. The only option is to disable them.

Thanks for any hep.

I had the same problem, also trying FishBMC.
What I ended up doing is extracting files from my weekly backup, and comparing to the current files.

I found some changes in...
   "userdata/guisettings.xml"
   "userdata/addon_data/skin.estuary/settings.xml"

I changed those files back, and deleted the "fishbmc" folder from "userdata/addon_data/".
Everything worked after that.

I was hoping disabling the Add-On would have cleaned up the changes, but no such luck.
Hope this helps.
