Hello,
I am trying to build a skin that will resemble the Filmy app for PS3. This video for anyone not old enough to remember Filmy.
I want to be able to browse home videos by date. Currently you can arrange by date but it is based off IMDB data for released film and tv.
Is there a way to add a metadata reader, or maybe and addon, that will let me arrange videos by date taken?
Most home videos are also named according to the date recorded so if not the meta data maybe there is a way to read the date from the filename?
I have searched through the community skins and also addons and haven't found anything. If anyone can help me out or maybe suggest a place to start for building my own skin I am willing to read and learn. I have been reading the wiki also.
