Kodi display

I know how to get to display to zoom it in or out. i did that and got the display right as i need, but still, as i go back to the main screen, i'm seening black around around the display.
So, how do i get the display to go into a full screen to fit the tv

1) Set up your TV correctly. Most TVs still have the overscan thing enabled as a souvenir from the past of CRT screens. Look up your TV manual for connecting to PC/computers.

2) Your RPi may still need to be disabled for overscan as well via its config.txt file, although LibreELEC should have eradicated that need by now.
