Please put back coreelec commands in Kodi power options

Jurial, one Last thing about the widgets from submenu items. If we choose "Combined widget satck", on settings, they dont work.
Hooe this Can give you a clue to solve this as well.
Other than this the skin is faster. Amazing

Needs OMDb key added to TMDbHelper. See very first post for instructions.
Exactly. I already have it configured in TMDB Helper, however, in movies it appears correctly to me, but in series it does not.

Thanks for the answer.

Most TV shows do not have rotten tomatoes data available on OMDb.

If you have an MDBlist API key you will get better results for tvshows.

I have the same issue but I do have library data. Problem I found is the tmdb track widgets don't show up in my widget list. I had to go into skinshortcuts xml and delete them.

I think I'm going to be forced into eventually making my own similar script because whilst the skinshortcuts is being maintained in working condition, it isn't really being developed and some of the limitations are becoming more effort to workaround than the work that would be involved in making my own version.

Wow that was quick, no issues for me, skin feels much faster to load.

Reddit is alive with "my widgets are gone" lol
Why people don't check GitHub or this thread is beyond me, anyway great work as usual.

The new update seems much faster. After setting up the widgets in my categories, I noticed that if I use submenu lists as widgets, I won't be able to scroll down to my other widgets that I set up in that same category. When I disable submenu list use as widget, then I am able to scroll down to my other widgets. Is this a bug?

Great work with the new update! Quick question about the left main menu, is it possible to have it expand the text on highlight like before? If it's possible, I'm not able to find where to do it.

You can configure the skin widgets and menus in the settings.
Settings > Skin Settings > Menus > Customise widgets

By default there is also a shortcut in the power menu (3 bars at bottom of the screen) called "Customise hubs and widgets". You can find all the tools in there to customise the skin to how you like.

Since you dont have library content, you should choose the "prebuilt" option to change to the TMDbHelper widget set.

Settings > Skin Settings > Menus > Customise widgets

Select "Prebuilt" option from the side

Select "tmdb"

I was forced to remove it because it didn't work well when there was more than five side items.

The labels were separate from the menu to avoid expanding its hitbox (problem for mouse/touch on widgets near the menu) but separate labels are statically positioned and so won't scroll up/down with the menu.

I figured having at least basic mouse/touch control was more important than the labels, so it was labels that gave way.

Will reintroduce it if I figure out a good way to manage it but for the time-being has to make way for the ability to have more than five side menu items.

Just didn't consider this configuration when I was testing. I think should be able to add this back in. Will let you know.

Animation and navigation smoothness definitely should improve. I have way more control now over exactly what templates are built, which means the skin only builds the code necessary for the current config and nothing else. Skinshortcuts would build a lot of extra code templates it thinks the skin *might* need and then the skin would need to use include and visibility conditions to control which parts are shown.

The skin can't directly affect performance of content loading, but that's probably incidentally also improved by preventing any hidden widgets from being unnecessarily built.
