Where is the "absolute numbering" setting?
#1
I'm trying to scan some anime in that has all of its episodes in one gigantic season but tmdb has them split into separate seasons so I need to turn on absolute ordering but I can't find that setting anywhere in the interface. I checked the Wiki page as well and it's no help.

I've tried XEM with the source set to anidb (which has it all as one "season") but it still doesn't register any of fhe episodes past the first season.

Absolute Ordering does not work if the provider sites do not have Absolute Ordering listed. Have you checked that the order exists?
Don't use XEM as it is partly broken.

Which scraper are you using and which show?

I just checked themoviedb.org and yeah, Hunter x Hunter (the anime I'm trying to get kodi to input) does indeed have an absolute ordering mode. The issue isn't that I'm turning on absolute ordering and it isn't working, the issue is I can't even find the setting in the first place, and it would really solve a lot of my issues if I could turn it on, bc I'm having this issue with a few other shows, and TMDB does have absolute/flat orderings for them too! Confused

Gotcha, ok

I was trying to use the built in TMDB scraper, since the Kodi wiki suggests it has a setting to enable absolute orderings

There is no setting for TMDB.
TMDB... https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:TMDb_TV_Sh...ode_Orders
TVDB,.. https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:The_TVDB_v...ble_Orders
TV Maze... https://kodi.wiki/view/Add-on:TVmaze#Episode_Orders

Just make sure you are using the correct scrapers shown in those wiki pages, not an old version.
