Android Kodi 20.2 on Amazon Fire TV 4K Max - Cannot add personal URL
#1
Hello All,

Ru here, new to the Kodi Support Forum, but not using Kodi.

I am running Kodi v20.2 on a Amazon Fire TV 4K Max and for years (and previous versions of Kodi) added my personal URL domain to access helpful files via the Kodi>System>File Manage without problems.  But, recently for whatever reason, I can no longer access my URL.

Some background info:
  1. Verified the typing of my URL for errors - https://www.mispatitos.com/Ks - All correct.
  2. Independently verified access to my above URL via various web browsers - 100% access - All good
  3. Tested with a VPN and without - Same results in the Kodi>System>File Manager - "Unable to Connect Error">"Couldn't retrieve directory information. This could be due to the network not being connected.  Would you like to add it anyway?" "Yes or No" - I select "Yes" and results follow in item "4" below.
  4. With above URL added, I click on it or select it and I receive the following error; ""Remote share">"Couldn't connect to network server." "Ok" - I select ok and of course nothing happens.
  5. Verified that my URL and dedicated IP address for domain is not Blacklisted and it is not.
  6. (Settings Level Expert) Kodi>System>Settings>System>Add-ons>General>Unknown source - Is selected.
  7. Kodi Skin set to "Confluence"
At this point, I am turning to the Kodi Support community for assistance and ideas of what might be going on and what suggestion you can offer?

I thank all in advance with all and any help and suggestions you offer.

Cheers!!

Hello,

I've finally taken the time to look at my Kodi log today and here is what its displaying about my personal server when attempting to make a connection to it within Kodi (see my Kodi log here:  https://paste.kodi.tv/eqununidux).

I can use some assistance to process and interpret "step 1 check Kodi log for HTTP Response code" please?

Working on "step 2 check server apache logs for what resource was not found" with my host admin.

Thank you,

Ru
