Hello everyone,
My removal HD is connected to my FRITZ!Box (router) which provides limited NAS feature, I have enabled FTP in the router today and established FTP connection between Kodi in Amazon Firestick. However I have noticed that some folders and files are not showing correctly and most importantly NOT accessible. I am sure it is because of charset (encoding) because after I changed the file name from Chinese to English, everything works fine again. Interesting thing is via SMB connection it shows the names correctly, but I find it is quite laggy when playing Blu Ray videos.
Could you please suggest how I can fix this without renaming all my files/folders? I don’t think FRITZ!box provides option to change the encoding either…
