i dont think 21b3 should stop 20.5 being installed on android.
I dont believe android stops installing an older version apk over a newer.
if they are signed with different keys though - that would probably do it
eg. 20.5 signed with release keys and 21b3 signed with debug

Only now got the update available in the Play store. Install went smoothly on a Philips Android 11 TV.

It installed fine on my Nvidia Shield Pro.
Atmos music from .MKA files now play without any "time playing" jitters (upgraded from 20.2) so that's great.
There's still a minimal gap between audio tracks, however so I've got it set to use the video player instead which delivers reliable gap-free playback, but unfortunately shows the time as total time into the album instead of just that track.
It also doesn't update the track highlighting or name as it crosses into another track and then starts playing the next track after the first one that was selected after the entire rest of the album is finished, which is odd.
But at least it will play gapless without showing video, which takes up more space and on most Atmos Blu-ray albums shows extremely bright white type backgrounds (or worse yet an animated repeating video like Duran Duran's Danse Macabre Atmos album that flickers like mad, to simulate candlelight or something I suppose) when I just want to chill in the dark with my star projector lighting up the ceiling or what not.
Hopefully, a future version will perfect one avenue or the other, but at least it's functional with MKA. Cheers.
