Can’t use subtitels, when watching a movie there is no subtitels menu. Can someone please help me with this?

Hi, im also cannot see the subtitles setting when watching movie. In fact there is no OSD at all, not any button but just a bar to forward/rewind the movie. If i click the up/down at the remote, it only display how to adjust the volume. Any fix of this??

Im using apple tv 4k 2022, tvos 17.3 sideload kodi 21.0 estuary default skin

I had this issue before! Try using VLC Media Player if you’re not already. It’s super easy to add subtitles with it. Just open your movie, go to the “Subtitle” menu, and you should be able to add them from there. If the subtitles are part of the video file, you might need to download a separate file for them.

I had the same issue before! Try restarting the app or your phone. Sometimes it’s just a glitch. Also, check the video settings again—there might be a subtitles option hidden there.
