I have uninstalled the previous Kodi App in my tv and have tried to install the app from the link provided.

Finally jio tv is working on latest kodi version, thanks to the kodi dev team.

Team Kodi is in no shape or form affiliated with Jio or the add-on.

I was facing the same issue since yesterday. The only problem that does not allow Jio Tv to start on Kodi is the latest version i.e. Kodi Omega.
Try Kodi Nexus which is bit older version. But, Jio Tv 100% works on Kodi Omega.

Steps
--------
1. Install Kodi from here - https://mirrors.kodi.tv/nightlies/androi...64-v8a.apk
2. Then disable auto updates in settings of addons
3. Enable "Unknown sources"
4. Install https://github.com/tobalan/tobalan.githu...-2.0.1.zip

5. Then install jio plugin from this repo
