XBMC Crashing
#1
Alright, so I'm fairly new to XBMC. I was able to get it running perfectly on my PC (which, as of late, I've sold) so I've decided to take an older PC I had lying around and turn it into a full time Media Center.
It's an old Dell Dimension with a P2 at 446Mhz and 512 MB of RAM, for graphics I have an ATI Radeon 9000 (that would be AGP) On it all I am running Windows XP Pro with SP3 (hush, it actually runs pretty well)

My problem is this: XBMC doesn't load...at all. I click for it and all I get is the "XBMC has encountered a problem and needs to close" dialogue.

Thoughts anyone? I REALLY don't have the money to buy a whole new system at the moment to just use it as a media center, so I'm hoping this will work.

Yes I've downloaded and installed the latest GFX drivers.
I'd love to post a debug file, but the log file listed in the FAQ cannot be found.

are you using the tv out on your video card or dvi/vga out
if you are using the tv out your video driver may not support openGL for tv out.

Check your logfile for your OpenGL support:

yeah...I'm using it through S-Video out. the iTunes Visualization seems to work fine, and I certain it's OpenGL.
