I've updated to Kodi 21.1 on Windows 10 and I can't add any other subtitles font. The only available option is Default DejaVu Sans or something.
I tried to add a .ttf file to the installed folder \media\Fonts\ (also changed the capital, so \media\fonts\), which is the way forward according to the Kodi wiki.
I'm using the Estuary skin (default, if I'm correct). I also searched for "dejavu" (complete C:-drive), without succes.

Kodi has two \media folders, one within the installation and one within the Kodi data folder, the \media\Fonts\ needs to be the one in your Kodi data folder (same folder as your userdata folder is located) see https://kodi.wiki/view/Kodi_data_folder#Fonts
