How can I share favorites from 2 different KODI installations? (One on my laptop and the other on my tablet)

Do I have to find Windows: C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\kodi/userdata/ or create a symbolic link or point KODI to read the favorites.xml from the shared folder.
