Is there a cache the prevents changes to artwork from being immediately displayed in KODI? If so, how long does the cache last and is there a way to manually flush the cache?

Yes there is.
It is a 24 hour cache. So, 24 hours since the last time that image was accessed.

It looks like removing the show from the library and then updating the library to add it back also clears the cache. Is this correct?
