I downloaded my Bandcamp music via Wave. However, my current music is mp3. I added the files. Yet I can only find my MP3 music in the "music." When I search artist or songs the results are empty. However, when I go to settings and look for files I added I can find the individual files. Is there anyway to get all types of files into the primary "music," and make them searchable?"

Wav files do not have metadata tags, so on their own they can't be added to the Music Library, hence why you only see them with the Files view. To be searchable then the files need to be added to the Library. So your options are to either look into generating cue files containing metadata for the wav files, or convert them to mp3 and them tag them to allow addition to the Music Library.

Not personally familiar/utilse bandcamp, but it looks like you can download your bandcamp collection in various file formats.
So I would recommend re-download the files in another format i.e. .flac (lossless) or .mp3 (lossy) that supports and hopefully already contain required tags.
