Found two of these on my workbench, worked perfectly on ATV any version.

I have found that ANY USB drive with the U3 Smart System appears to work flawlessly. Boots and installs completely.

The problem is that I had several with the U3 Smart that didn't mention it on the packaging.

And be careful with the Sony sticks...
Sony MicroVault 1 GB worked for me (but was stolen), but the
Sony MicroVault CLICK 2GB Fails.

I cannot get the ATV USB Creator for Apple TV to work. I've seen all the posts but can't figure it out. Can anyone help? I tried with both a Sandisk Cruzer Mini 2GB and a Sandisk Cruzer Countour 16GB. Neither will work. I formatted the drives as MacOS Extended (Journaled) which I understand is correct.

This is error message I get:

Is there anyway to get this to work? Would love to use XBMC on my Apple TV, butI'm stuck. Thanks for the help.
