[LINUX/MAC/WINDOWS] Play PAL Videos at NTSC Framerate with XBMC's DVDPlayer?
#1
Hey! I just moved from running XBMC on Xbox to Apple TV. Things are early here, but I'm hoping that we'll eventually see some form of hardware acceleration to enable smooth playback of 720p MKVs.

One quick question. I'm totally unfamiliar with the whole XBMC for Mac branch. One of my favorite features of XBMC on Xbox is the ability to play 25fps PAL videos at NTSC speed (23.976fps). I can't find this option anywhere on XBMC for Apple TV. Am I missing it somewhere? If not, are there any plans to add this valuable feature at some point?

Nothing bugs me more than the pitched dialogue from slightly sped up PAL framerate, but I love those extra lines of resolution Smile

Thanks for all the hard work, guys! I expect an exciting future for XBMC on Apple TV!

It's not likely to be added for quite some time.
