If the installation bring you direct to a login screen or can't find installation files when trying to install to hdd or usb but it works to run live and you want to install to hdd.
1.
option 1. use a usb cd player(not tested but i think it will work).
option 2. Use an other computer to make the installation to a usb flash drive so you can install from the usb stick.
2.
Boot your computer from the usb device.
when you comes to the login use root(no password requierd).
3.
Run install2hd width command /usr/bin/install2hd.sh
4.
Follow the instructions
I had this problem on a HP DC5800(intel Q33 Express chipset, CD on SATA)
Now working from hdd, also got the Dreambox remote to work(acts like XBOX remote), The old XBOX is soon retierd.
