setup:
XBMC live on Patriot 4GB USB flash
Gigabyte GS-73PVM-S2H
C2D E7200
2x1GB Kingston DDR2-800

XBMC was working fine until I rebooted, then booted up to a black screen with the x-cursor. No xbmc log created (I deleted the old one in /var/tmp).

/var/log/Xorg.0.log says:
AUDIT: Tue Nov 11 16:49:02 2008: 5101 X: client 1 rejected from local host (uid 1000)
repeated every few seconds.


edit: fixed by fixing the Beta2 USB ext3fs.img bug (permanent filesystem created too small)
