mwaterbu did a mockup of how it might look, http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid...pid1341688 . We're still in the rough concept phase, so if you have any hard design requirements or simple wishes, now's probably the time to make them known.
That mockup looks like a solid foundation to do button assignments in a 10 foot context. Will now get out of your way sir. God speed!

This is exactly what I was hoping for. Simple and easy. Thanks!
This project seems to be becoming quite complex and difficult to follow. Garbear, mind if I break it out into its own sub-forum, a la JSON-RPC?
Let's do it! Montellese has been really articulate with all his fancy TODO lists, and status updates, and changelogs, basically he's so organized it makes me sick. I'll see if RetroPlayer's new home can't live up to the standards he's set Wink
You guys rock, just wanted to let you know. Following these posts closely. I wish I had time to help test. Keep up the good work!
Alrighty, moved. I'll give a day or two for people to start up new, individual threads, and then I'll shut this one down.
Thanks for opening the new forum, Nate. Everyone can find it here: Development / RetroPlayer.

Over the next few days I'll cherry-pick some of the bookmark-worthy individual posts (like pcjason's raspberrypi build instructions) into their own thread. If i miss something, start a thread and link to it because this thread is now closed!

Cheers,
Garrett
