Hi,

I'm having issues with subtitles. For some reason old subtitles overlaps with new ones on top? So instead of being replaces subtitles keeps adding on screen making it complete mess..

Is there any setting to fix this? Never happened on my old xbox.

Edit: btw, none of subtitles work! On both XBMC and Boxee. They work fine on PC, but on aTV subtitles shows at completely random time, showing two different languages at the same time, not removing old subtitles and overlapping new on top - in other words complete mess!

I can't see anyone else complaining about this problem though?

Edit2: Srt subtitles works fine, but sub extension gives issues mentioned above.

i am having the same problem using the latest version of XBMC (8.10 Atlantis) on Windows XP. Also, it seems to happen more when i use *.idx/*.sub subtitle files than *.srt subtitle files. infact, i think i haven't ever had this problem occuring when using *.srt files.

those problems are different from the one the OP and I are talking about. for us, the subtitles do show up on the screen, but they stay on the screen even after the next line of subtitles appear...so they all just keep getting painted over and over each other as the video playback progresses.

yes, exactly the problem I'm having!

Srt works fine, but subs does not, btw its same on boxee as well. Pitty, as most of my movies are in subs and I have to watch them on PC now instead of aTV.

I really really hope devs will address this issue - it was working fine on old xbox for ages, if code base is similar it shouldn't be too hard to fix it?

I have the same problem with some sub/idx subtitles, the previous subtitle is not removed and it comes the new one on top of it and so on.

Someone submitted new ticked and some examples, is it enough or you need some more (question to devs)?
