i just uploaded xbeid to the dev upload, a tool i created for myself to enable running multiple version of xbmc on my box without them interfering with eachother through the face008 folder (i.e., one 'quite stable', and one 'latest cvs'- or for finding bug introduction dates, builds from various days)

it changes the title id of an xbe to some other value, causing the tdata folder name to change.

you can also change the id when you compile xbmc, it's in the project settings.
